    Leave butter at room temperature for 15–20 minutes until it's soft enough to yield to light pressure, but not melted.

  2. Whip the Butter

    Using an electric mixer or hand whisk, beat the softened butter for 2–3 minutes until it becomes pale and fluffy, increasing in volume.

  3. Add Honey and Salt

    Gradually add honey and sea salt while continuing to beat. If using cinnamon or vanilla, add now. Mix until fully incorporated and the texture is light and creamy.

  4. Chill

    Transfer to a serving dish or container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the texture to set.
